That's a long stretch for me too Peter. At present, for family reasons, I'm driving just a little short of 30,000 miles a year so any time I get a week at home is "Strictly No Driving"

Last reminder for Sunday's sale. Remember there is no Loughborough non competitive display this year so this is your chance to get out and chat with fellow growers while the ground is still frozen solid.

The good news is the final arrival of cold weather means the squidgy bits of the garden are now solid (mostly), so a request to have a gawp will not result in overly mucky feet.

Excellent news.... the wellies might not be needed but several extra pairs of warm socks will be......


Lucky folks attending the sale... a get together and a bit of  plant based retail therapy .... just what the doctor ordered.

The more southern folks will be trotting off to Caerleon on the 18th while the Scots and northerners are heading to Dunblane. .... safe journey everyone... have a good day!
