This came from the SRGC seedex last January as Townsendia jonesii.  Can anyone confirm, refine or correct the id please?

100% against it being Townsendia jonesii Ashley....will investigate the possibilities.

Thanks Cliff & Mark but I made a mistake at this end unfortunately!  Is it Heterotheca jonesii (syn. Chrysopsis jonesii)?

Did you ever try the Gardenweb Forum 'Name That Plant'?

It seems to me they are able to identify nearly each plant, especially North American species.
