Hippeastrum elwesii ??
« on: February 11, 2012, 06:44:32 PM »
Did anyone else get this from the 2008 SRGC seedex?  And what were your results?   Mine just bloomed although I missed it.  It was pink.
I thought that hippeastrum elwesii was syn. for Rhodophilia elwesii which is supposed to be yellow.  I've got a seed pod developing as well, so it would be nice to know what it may actually be.
I'm hoping that the second picture will be a good indicator for ID.
