How to tell ripe seed /what is this plant?

Hi
Last year before Christmas I bought 2 different hippeastrum hybrids: Benefica and Minerva. Not that unusually but the first ones I have ever had. Minerva started to bloom before Benefica but at one point they both had flowers, so i used my fingertip to see if i could get a nice blend
. Now they both have 2 seedpods and Benefica even got one more flowerstem! It has opened some days ago. My question is: how can i see when the seedpod is ready to be harvested? I guess they should have gone to rest by now but the seedmaking is prolonging the growth?

It's easy -- the pod splits open and spills the seeds out.

It can take from one to ca. three months for ripening, depending on the species or hybrid. It has never taken my plants more than three months as far as I can remember.
It's much faster than Clivia seed ripening -- 9 to 13 months for clivias!

So does it need warmth while ripening the seedpods?
And talking about clivia
is this one? Sorry about the poor quality, it's taken by mobilphone...Got these from neighbour, she thought it was amaryllis. I was thinking maybe clivia, but I'm not sure. There are 2 bulbs in this pot, and one of them had a flowerbud. Quite big flower with green lines on the petals.

Is it really? Thanks ArnoldT
do you know what kind? The bulbs are not big as other amaryllis bulbs i have seen. My neighbour said that the motherplant is old, she got it from her mother a long time ago.

Not all Hippeastrum are large, some are quite small.

Does every amaryllis get several flowers per stem, clustered up on top? The ones i have seen on motherplant is single flower on each stem. Perhaps I'm wrong, will ask her if it has had several previous years.

Lillii:
If you treat them real well you can get more than one bloom per scape.

Unfortunately i didn't take picture of the one flower i had on mine. But it didn't open properly anyway because it was trying to establish in the new soil i guess. I can check with neighbour though as i think
maybe
hers had one flowerbud recently.

Have taken some photos of the motherplant. First the flower, then the whole plant.

Lilli,
This is for sure a Hippeastrum, as for the species it think it's Hippeastrum striatum which is a smaller species.
