Maggi there was some talk that the Trillium nivale may be a 'hybrid' as some that the flowers sere a bit more rounded in the petal, however I just thought it was a mature plant producing mature sizes flowers as talking to other growers who had nivale on display the drift seemed to be that the bulbs they had were all 'younger'...no doubt your better half will have an opinion!

I agree with you, George, and the Boss does too. T. nivale should have voluptous rounded petals... this is a beautiful form and look at the perfect foliage. A cracker!

The 'sedum' was Sempervivum calcareum (I think)

Thanks Martin, my picture of the sedum suggests its may be a 'clonal' name but will do for me. I realised that I also had taken a picture on my phone and as it was John Richards with his red sticker Callianthemum anemonoides in class 17 ( I think ), quite a tough class, thought it deserved to be seen. Sorry the colour is washed out and I seem to be unable to 'ajust' it it had nice colour on the reverse of the petals. Perhaps Peter will get time tomorrow to post a few photos, its out local group meeting tonight so he will be there, I did not get basck from a day trip away till too late to go....must be getting old

I've finally had the opportunity to sort out my photos from Loughborough (and here we are at the Kent show weekend). I posted my plant photos on the AGS website (well it was their show!) so you can use the link that Maggi used earlier:

However I also promised Angie a picture of the Laneside Alpines stall and Geoff was expecting to be photographed, having been warned by her, so I'll post that here.
First, a close-up of pots of compost (with one or two green bits showing - it must be spring after all)

Thirdly the Aberconwy stall early in the day - there are already some empty spaces, and plenty of people standing there in the classical label reading pose!

Thanks Peter, much appreciated  . Its nice to put a face to the owner of Laneside Orchids. Oh and all those pots of lovely Cypripediums. I showed my hubby the picture and said I wish I had been there, look what I missed. His reply was haven't you got enough. ENOUGH, not such a word
