If anyone is in doubt about whether to go or not.... see this note from Lionel about "other" attractions as well as the show itself.... http://www.srgc.org.uk/forum/index.php?topic=7960.msg236339#msg236339   ;D

I should be there. Hope the weather doesn't stop the Scottish contingent this year!
Won't be able to stay too long as other family commitments are in order.

So far as Peter Sheasby's "Spring in Western Australia" lecture is concerned, I believe EVERYONE should see the flora of WA in the springtime. It is unique and utterly glorious. No, I haven't been there but I've seen books and the photos of people who have been and I fully intend to visit some time in the next 2 or 3 years. Just so different from anywhere else in the world, even the rest of Australia.

I'll be on the members plant stall most of the day as usual, and Susan will be one of the two people running the computer. She is a bit nervous about this, and does not have a lot of experience with the job, so please be patient with her, especially if turning up with last minute entries.  She has already had me make a list of all my (even remotely) possible entries to make sure I'm not one of the culprits!

I'm probably not going to be able to make it to help set up on friday night but Susan will already be at college nearby, so will go straight from there. This means the team will be one member down - anyone near enough to offer assistance would be very welcome - please contact Lionel.

whilst I'm looking forward to the show ... it can take it's time turning up.  ???

I have a busy week at college this week, have just completed one set of plant idents and I am due to be set another one of Friday.

On Thursday I have to hand in an assignment.  This is a really three in one as it is a report on plant utilisation and maintenance on three different public amenity areas.

and then on Friday I have to give a presentation to the class.  :-\  :-[   Not looking forward to this at all!

so come Saturday I'll either be   :) because it went well or  :'( because I made a fool of myself by forgetting everything I ever knew about how to make and plant a hypertufa trough.
