Only eight rain days here in March, one fewer than in March 2011. Out in the garden all day today, cloudy mainly with brief sunny periods but dry all day. Started to rain and turned much colder around 5.30PM.

This morning.
Most of the snow has now melted but we had more this time than any snowfall in the winter.

Eight days, I wish we had that much nothing since the 4th March.

Today was another fine dry day, only reached 15C and they promised a cold wet day.

Thanks Angie  :o  ;)

I don't mind the wet but you can keep the cold!  Last week at the nursery I was wearing my sun hat and put on suncream.  This week it looks like I am back in my thermals.  ???

Yep, Susan I was the same last week, suncream on and loving not to have a jumper on. Should have know there would be payback time for that beautiful weather. Still we are heading for the best summer ever. Maybe if we all wish this it might come true for once  ::) ;D. Hope its still nice with you. Snow is away here now. When I went down to Maggi and Ian's yesterday there was no snow, just a different day alltogether. I suppose being up a hill has many downfalls.

Here at our cabin in 1000m altitude it has been a very dry spring. Only 15mm of precipitation the two last months (February and March) and nothing so far in April either. The other week they experienced all time high temps here with record breaking +17C as maximum. Almost all the snow melted. What is left is hard and like ice as the last days (nights) has seen temps down to -14C. Although the sun shines from an almost cloudfree sky the daytemp doesn't reach 0C.

I'm pretty sure neither Maggi nor Ofcom would allow my current thoughts about the weather in print...  :-X

Very dry here too Trond, I can't remember the last time it rained.  Usually in the latter part of March we have a week of foggy misty weather but nothing this year. On the coast we are promised 20mm of rain on Sunday, with the usual wind no doubt.

Are they friendly enough to share a noggin or two?

Our forecast for the last couple of days was for rain. We have had sunshine and 25oC! 8)
