Serious rain here this morning!  ;D ;D Though we need a truly wet April to make up for the lack of rain over the winter :(
Serious rain every day here! We need at least a week to get the lawns dry enough to walk on. Now it's like bogs everywhere.

Every year my Paeonia molly the witch or should I say P. mlokosewitschii gets either covered in snow or hail just when the flowers are ready to open. So we are sure to get snow soon.

According to wikipedia (so open to correction), the average rainfall in Stavenger (as close as I could find to you) is 1,180 mm/year while near me it's nearly 1,500 mm/year - this is normally a very rainy part of the world. 11 years ago it rained 2,500 mm from one summer to the next!

1,500mm/year is some water! But you have higher temperatures and higher evaporation  ;) However farther north of me is the place that officially receive most precipitation: Brekke i Sogn with 3575mm/year.

My weather looks more like this, but it is not that low temperatures (we have had no frost in March, and little before Xmas) as this is inland from me:

Today like yesterday, started with rain, then some sun and probably rain again later in the evening.

April in North Norway has been cold, north wind and a little snow or sleet almost every day. No fun at all  >:(

Up and down weather here- typical enough for spring! Still large mounds of snow around the yard to melt, in spite of many warm days and major melting already! But several recent snowfalls and its snowing again now- like Trond, I wouldn't mind drying out a little before the next one  ;D though the moisture will be good for wildflowers and mosquitoes  ::)

Here's the drive home from work today, just started snowing a while before that, still coming down now at almost 2 am- supposed to be on and off through saturday, maybe some rain mixed in...
