Remarkable report Stan of such a splendid show.  Congratulations to Cyril, Angie, Stan and ALL the winners (and ALL the runner-ups, without whom the show would be pretty thin), to the team who made it all happen and to the retiring (never been described like that before, eh?) show secretaries who have (and continue to) expended so much time, energy and perspiration.  Wish I could have visited just one of your events Ian & Maggi ... many thanks from us all.

Stan, that is terrific..... many, many thanks to you for this, and all your other show reports.

I've got some pix as well..... not as good as Stan'  but I'll get around to posting them sometime.... Ian has a few too... it was a lovely day. Sad in that it was the end of an era ... but there can always be another flowering !

Christine, I have some news for you..... you left the entry of the two plants you sent up with Mike and Pearl to Mike's discretion .... he entered them in Section I  ...... where I think they both won!  Will double check that later, but I think I'm right!  Congratulations!

The Dales have long had very close Aberdeen  connections, of course...... I think it was 21 years ago, in the first year in this venue, that young Heather, then a student in the city,  came along to help out at the show.

I think the furthest travelled plants for the show came from Hampshire - not show plants, but a large and super selection of plants donated for the Club plant stall from Jane,  the daughter of local member Frances Lyall.

Hi Folks

Finally got on computer to look at the show pictures. What a great day. I won't say how much home baking I had, but all I can say is I am sure it has helped my back ache, and before anyone says how much I did eat remember friends to have friends in your life is one of the great pleasures we can have, without friends its a very dull place 

I was really pleased with my prizes and as gardening and all plants are my first love ( don't tell hubby ) it just is so nice to see them on the benches with other plants, even if you don't win a thing its just nice to take part.

Well done to everyone that put a plant on the bench and thanks to everyone that took the home bakes in. 

Stan your pictures are always great and it so nice for everyone that couldn't make the show see what was happening, thanks.

There was a few plants I wouldn't have minded sneaking away with, two were Grahams  and their was a lovely white cypripedium.
