I'm looking for some small Iris sibirica cultivars ('Arthur River Sunrise', 'Baby Sister', 'Blue Hyacinth', 'Huia', 'Little Dan, 'Little Moo', 'Pink Baby One', 'Schiffsjunge', 'Summerchase Advent',....) and I was wondering if anyone knows where I could buy these?

the nursery "Gräfin Zeppelin" is one of the best here in germany ( special for perennials )
The specialtity is Iris, Hemerocallis ,Paeonia ,Papaver .....
It is the same range for iris like Cayeux from France !

The founder Gräfin Helen von Zeppelin was a very famous person ( for long time died ) -I can everybody suggest to visit this nursery

it's really nice, the Iris catalogue is just as big as Cayeux's indeed.

But no small I. sibirica's, they sell some wonderful big cultvars, but the ones I'm looking for are only 30 cm or less!

try looking for Irises forrestii, chrysographes, clarkii, typhifolia, and wild seed of I sibirica Wim.
Apart form these species I can send you a small white form of sibirica if you ask me after the summer and Flight of Butterflies is a daintier cultivar, you could also consider forms of I lactea.

I grow I forrestii, chrysographes, lactea and typhifolia already. 'Flight of Butterflies' is very nice but it grows to 65 cm heigh.
I'll contact you later about the small white form of sibirica!

It seems that I lactea is either variable, or a complex of species. It has a huge distribution from Mongolia to Korea. I think the position may have been confused by nomadic people transplanting it as goat fodder in harsh enviroments.
another very good Iris species is Iris missouriensis.

Thomas Tamburgs work is very interesting as if one looks carefully at his list it shows that he has succeded in crossing setosas with sibiricas (sibtosas), ensatas with pseudoacorus (pseudatas) and many other combinations of iris types. Much of his work is tetraploid.  The McEwan hybreds have produced some amazing colours, again many are polyploid and not dainty.
It is however worth browsing both lists in the links given.

Another list worth browsing is Joe Pye Weeds http://www.jpwflowers.com/introspecies.html As far as I know they still export, and the order I recieved from them a few years ago was very good value.

beautiful sibirica's, no small ones though, but he sells some other wonderful small Irisses (koreana and cultivars of cristata for example). It's a shame importing from America is quite expensive!
I. missouriensis is one I don't grow yet, it looks very nice!

Hello Wim, Do you like Iris sanguinea? Mine has leaves<30cm and the flower at 40cm.
It is in flower now, but I cannot guarantuee seeds yet of course. Later in the year I can send you cuttings if you want.
In my experience it does grow on drier soil but only flowers on moisty locations.

I can't help with sources Wim but there are two called 'Little Sister' and "Little Tricolor' both said to grow less than 20cms high, I only have small plants so fatr
