I know two UK based gardeners/plant collectors/plantoholics who have it but havent been able to get any.

I'd bet someone has it but doesnt know that they have.

Agreed - but look at some of the prices!

Commercial companies have to make profit
It's easier to grow 1.000.000 the same plants
as to grow 100 different species 10 of each

You should know how much time that cost
If you calculate all the hours of work
they aren't expensive

If a small UK nursery can supply N. asturiensis (true) for £1.00 per bulb why does this supplier charge £11.00? Profit or profiteering?

Maybe they can't find a cheap supplier
or is it a special clone

I have Polygonatum odoratum for €1,50 for sale
but also special clones for €10,- each

Dix export Wholesale (http://www.dixexport.com) sells them for €1,15 each
So Kevock list it at 5 for £9 ?
it isn't that bad price

Well, it will be interesting to see what one gets for €2.22 per bulb. Some of us remember a few years ago Dix Export selling 'Crocus cvijicii' (not -  as the young say).
