Adonis - from seed sown Jan 2012
« on: June 30, 2012, 03:11:01 PM »
Had to share this one with you folks, this adonis was grown from SRGC seed sown in January 2012.  What a plant!  Two pics, one taken in shade, the other in a bit of sun.  Doesn't do justice to the flower colour either way.

Chris,

wonderful Adonis. But it is Adonis annua, an annual species of this genus. Certainly not Adonis 'Chichibu Shinko',which is a cultivar of the perennial Adonis amurensis!
