Yes. Weather permitting. We will be visiting the Abbey too no doubt.

Oops!  I had listed the date in the Forum calendar and forgotten to post the day and place  :-[

Mid-West AGS Show at Tewkesbury School, Ashchurch Road, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, GL20 8DF

this  Saturday, 14th July - 12.00 noon to 4.00 pm - I hope there are lots of entries in to Show Secretary Eric Jarrett by now......   How many classes are there  for aquatic plants after the weather there has been lately, I wonder  ;)

I'm sure all the usual suspects will be in attendance. Whether anyone has decent plants, given the weather, is another issue :-\

Been looking at the Travel directions as given on the AGS Website and Multimap, they do not match, nor do the AA ones either.  Anyone able to give more clarity?

It's somewhere south of here. That's enough for me to know I won't be going... ;)

Take the Tewkesbury turn off from the M5 and head towards the town. The school is on the left just after you pass the Elmbury Lodge pub (on the right at a junction with lights). It's only a few hundred yards from the motorway. Matches the AGS description although I thought it might be just one set of lights......... Just had a look at Google street view. The second set of lights is a pedestrian crossing which suggests we're to go in the second entrance to the school. I'm sure Eric will have signs up to keep us right

Martin to the rescue - I knew a chap who can negotiate a Via Ferrata could manage a trip to a Tewkesbury show venue...... 8)

Ah well, another tour of another town, looking for places which no one has ever heard of. (And for the grammar freaks "of which no one has ever heard").

Ever the voice of reason, Diane!
With luck, it may be warm and dry enough for a picnic in the playground........

Probably best. In my experience the words "eat" and "Tewksbury" should never be in the same sentence.  :o
