New SRGC Site Address
« on: July 23, 2012, 04:28:58 PM »
Exciting news .... the SRGC website has a new address :  http://www.srgc.net

You will see a link at the top of each forum page.
On the new site you will find access to all the features of the old site and more besides, including the new Jim Archibald Archive - a work in progress which will , we hope, do justice to the work of that great plant hunter. We are grateful to Jenny Archibald and to Jim's friend and archivist, David Stephens, for their help and support in this project.

There is LOTS more still to come on the new site - we hope that it will continue to amaze and delight all who visit!

We hope we have got most things tested and so on, but you will all doubtless let us know what you think!  :o

 Enjoy!

Please do not attempt to register on the new site. It has been disabled and is pointless right now in any case as it will not access anything you can't already see.

I discover that some folks do not seem to have found that we have now got 113 issues of the SRGC Journal loaded on the main Website.
These 113 issues date from the very first one to  #113 in July 2004.

Further Journals will be added in due course.

As well as the journals, of course, there is also the full Index, prepared by Glassford Sprunt.

'New' SRGC Site Address
« Reply #5 on: March 23, 2013, 01:13:53 PM »
Friends, it is proving very tricky to track down all references to the SRGC website to ask that such  mentions are updated to our "new" current web address -  www.srgc.net

If you have a website or are involved with any organisation tha may have alink to SRGC on its site, would you please check that the address given is www.srgc.net  (and not the old version srgc.org.uk) and ask for the url to be changed if the old address is being used? If that is not possible , perhaps you would be good enough to contact me with a note of the site ( including their web address, please) so  can make contact to ask for an update to be made?

The old address does work, with a transfer possible to the new address, but it would be preferable if the new address were to be widely used.

So, if you see a link to the Scottish Rock Garden Club that does not use www.srgc.net  -please take action  - Thanks!
