David's widow, Katherine, has asked me to mention that she will be listing some of David's snowdrops on ebay later today.  She has found out that she is only allowed to list 10 items in one month so not everything will be listed today.

Next week Katherine will be taking young James on a much needed holiday.  When she returns the rest of David's bulbs will be listed on ebay.

Katherine's seller ID on ebay is  kqui6309:  You can click here for an easy link.

I don't keep a list of past results but it looks to me as if Katherine achieved some good prices; particularly given that we are out-of-season for snowdrops.
Almost in Scotland.

You're quite right Alan, for the most part, whoever bought Richard Blakeway-Phillips and Moortown got a bargain though - and it was the same person too.  I do hope she does as well for the next lot as there are some good varieties there.

Katherine tells me she has put some more great snowdrops on eBay tonight and more are going on tomorrow.  She apologizes to those who tried to bid from Europe and the glitch should have been sorted out.

There certainly are Brian - some very nice varieties indeed including one of my top 5 snowdrops - 'Hugh Mackenzie'.

John I should think that is one of anyone's top five who grows it, I might have to have another bulb ;)

It's good to know that at least 6 of the first lot have gone to forumists, I know someone else is a lurker and has one so that makes 7 and there were two second offers to another lurker  :) so that means at least 8 of us have a little bit of David's collection.

Well done Mr Grumpy - bet that made you more cheery! ;) ;D

I do hope that the response for all the bulbs is as good for the sake of Katherine knowing they are going to good homes and for DQ's memory to be held by all who get a bulb from his collection.

More have gone up today, and to my mind some of the best.  Will have to empty the piggy bank and see what's in there ;D
