? Gnaphalium
« on: September 18, 2012, 08:36:02 PM »
Does anyone recognise this ?Gnaphalium ?
I got the original many years ago I think at a plant sale.  It may have been from Chris Chadwell seed.  I had not seen it for a while but it reappeared a few years ago and is increasing though not to plague proportions yet.  I think it is biennial.

Thank you Oron.  That seems to be it.  I don't recall seeing it wild locally but there seem to be recent records in this area so it may have arrived by itself.  I see it is becoming rare so will keep allowing it to self seed in my garden.  I find it quite attractive.  It does not show up too well in photographs but looks nicer in real life.
