Bulbs and Mice
« on: October 24, 2012, 11:00:53 AM »
Just discovered that mice have eaten all 300 of the Crocus I planted the other day. Not going to replant any more, but I do need to know if the pests eat Scilla or Chionodoxa. I have a huge number of these which need separating and replanting but if they are going to be eaten I will pot them up and plant in Spring.
TIA

Here they ate 3000  :o Crocus Blue pearl
in one week the whole crate was empty  >:(

Normally they just eat Tulips and Crocus
a planting trick for crocus is with a 25 mm drilling machine
so the bulbs aren't connected in a nice soft soil area
