A very nice crossing Jan. Is it a natural cross ?
And the nicolai is at least equally nice. No doubt

Luc, yes they are natural hybrids

Some Juno's in Kansas.  Iris kuschakewiczii is probably opening now under the
freshly falling snow.

Jan, your Junos are great! Is Iris nicolai 'Varzob' the same plant like Iris rosenbachiana 'Varzob'? What distinguishes Iris nicolai and Iris rosenbachiana?

Juno rosenbachiana Varzob only commercial name.
Flora Tadjikistan clearly separates from Juno nicolai and Juno rosenbachiana.
There are botanical differences. But in a real kind. They are very variable species, like Juno maracandica and Juno narbuti. Colors
individual species you will see in the Gallery on my website.
Excuse me my English

Ian,
this is a special sand, which has the same features as in Varzob.
