Today the first flower on Iris caucasica (this plant comes from the BG Tblilisi/Georgië).

Jan, your Junos are great! Is Iris nicolai 'Varzob' the same plant like Iris rosenbachiana 'Varzob'? What distinguishes Iris nicolai and Iris rosenbachiana?

Juno rosenbachiana Varzob only commercial name.
Flora Tadjikistan clearly separates from Juno nicolai and Juno rosenbachiana.
There are botanical differences. But in a real kind. They are very variable species, like Juno maracandica and Juno narbuti. Colors
individual species you will see in the Gallery on my website.
